ZAMBEZI ELEPHANTS TO BENEFIT FROM NEW YORK CENTRAL PARK RUN NOV 2018

As a result of some serious lobbying by Zambezi Society Strategic Director, Richard Maasdorp, who is also the Co-ordinator of the Zambezi Elephant Fund (ZEF), the organisers of the annual New York Central Park Run have chosen the elephants of the Zambezi to be the beneficiaries of this year's event to be held on Saturday 17th November 2018.

This will be a huge marketing exercise, with a great deal of work involved, but the implementing partners of the Zambezi Elephant Fund, including The Zambezi Society, are up for the challenge!  We hope to be able to sponsor at least one ZimParks anti-poaching ranger to take part in the Run, as well as several ZEF representatives, with associated media coverage and (hopefully) a great deal of publicity in support of protecting our priceless Zambezi elephant heritage.

If you would like to take part, or to help us make the most of this wonderful fund-raising opportunity, please get in touch, or make a donation towards our efforts HERE
